Oakland Rejects Crackdown on Occupy Port Protests

The right to assemble must be guaranteed; however port and city officials in Oakland need to figure out a cost-effective way of securing port commerce AND protecting rights of protestors. This requires collaboration and engagement among all parties having port-security interests.
